Workplace Relationships
As an employee of Navitas Professional, it is necessary for me and every other employee to embrace these values and reflect every time we work. The values are categorized into different categories. They are delivering promises, clear communication, innovate, embrace change, respect and collaborate. In this blog, I will discuss what these values mean to me and how I reflect these values while working for Navitas.
Value systems can affect people significantly, and it is also possible to improve their work efficiency if they have the appropriate value systems, in this passage, I will explain how to identify the following value systems: Deliver Promises, Clear Communication, Innovate, Embrace Change, Respect, Collaborate and demonstrate each of them.
Delivery Promises:
in other words, it can be described as 'keep your promises', if you make the promise to others, you have to stick on it. There are three available ways to keep the promises:
1.Write It Down – Be specific and be sincere about what you are promising yourself you are going to do.
2. Make it Visible – Visibility leads to action. Keep your promises where you can see them. It could be on a Post-It on the bathroom mirror that will remind you each morning and night. Do whatever it takes to ensure that your goals are always visible.
3. Chart Your Daily Actions – Daily is the best way to check on your promises.
Clear Communication:
clear communication must include the appropriate word used, the correct spelling and grammar, the suitable tone and pronunciation for people to hear. Clear and effective communication is the key to success in the workplace. It’s at the basis of every email, presentation, and meeting. Struggling to interact with your boss, co-workers, or colleagues can cause anxiety, and it may adversely affect your work. But if you use your words well, employ proper body language, and develop your self-confidence, you’ll enjoy great communication skills for the rest of your career.
Innovate:
Innovation is one of the essential parts of a company in today's society, the employees who are innovative will have more chances to achieve their goals. Innovate is to introduce change or ideas, however, not all innovation can achieve a positive outcome. As a result, it is very important to consider it before action.
Embrace Change:
embrace change is the chance to learn new things, master new skills, develop new qualities like flexibility, optimism, courage, and persistence. It could help people to build up themselves.
Respect:
respect is the basic requirement for everyone in the workplace, anyone needs to respect others' ethic, ideas, outcome and etc. It promotes teamwork and increases productivity and efficiencies in the workplace. It lets employees know they are valued for their abilities, qualities and achievements, and that their role is important to their company's success.
Collaborate:
Collaboration in the workplace is when two or more people (often groups) work together through idea sharing and thinking to accomplish a common goal. It is simply teamwork taken to a higher level. Teamwork is often a physical joining of two people or a group to accomplish a task. With the changes and advancements in technology, such as high-speed Internet, web-based programs, file sharing, email and video-conferencing, collaboration has become a more productive way of doing things.
